Who we are
Optimate makes a free work system for people who run their own business, and this website is where you can learn about it, join the waitlist, and get your copy. If anything in this policy is unclear, write to [email protected] and a person will answer.
The short version
We hold one thing about you: the name and email address you give us, plus what we need to deliver your download and the few emails you asked for. The Optimate software itself runs on your computer and sends us nothing. We use no advertising trackers and no cookies for analytics, and we never sell or rent your information.
What we collect, and when
- When you join the waitlist: your first name (optional) and email address, with your consent.
- When you register for a download: your first name and email address, whether you verified your email, which version you downloaded and installed, and where you are in the signup process. This is what lets us send your download and tell you when updates ship.
- When you email us: your message and address, so we can reply.
Public forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person and not a script. Our page analytics are Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it gives us page-level counts without profiling you, following you across sites, or storing anything on your device.
What the Optimate software collects
Nothing. Optimate Solo runs on your own computer, on your own files. It does not send your files, your activity, or anything else to us, ever. Its weekly update check reads a public file on this site and compares versions on your machine; that request carries no personal information. The only data we ever hold about you is what you typed into a form on this website.
How we use your information
- To send the emails you asked for: the verification email, your download, and a small number of product emails such as an install reminder or a note when an update ships.
- To reply when you write to us.
- To keep the site working and free of spam and abuse.
Every product email includes a way to opt out, and one reply is always enough to make it stop. We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for marketing.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Where European data protection law applies, we process your information on the basis of your consent (you asked to join the list or receive a download) and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Where your information lives
Registration and waitlist records are stored with Cloudflare in the Western Europe region. Emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider, which processes your address for that purpose only. Both act as processors under our instructions; we share nothing with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as you're on the list or using Optimate, and no longer. Ask us to delete your record and we will, promptly and completely.

- Withdraw consent or object to processing
- Receive a copy in a portable format
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. There is no form and no waiting period; a person reads that inbox.
Age
Optimate is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the current version will always be at this address, with the date below updated. A change that affects what we hold about you will be announced by email before it takes effect.
